Description of the student\u2019s activities<\/strong>
\nThe intern will work on particular species and processes, analyzed through repeat photography samples which already cover 120 years and a large part of the Baja California desert. Substantial time will be invested in digitalization, archive management and archival research. The intern will also be expected to participate in field work related to repeat photography, and field and laboratory work on climate monitoring and environmental databases and their analysis, and plant taxonomy and ecology.<\/p>\n

The intern will make written and oral presentations at SDSU prior to the period and at both CICESE and SDSU at the end.\u00a0 Ideally the internship will result in a journal publication.<\/p>\n
