Description of the student activities:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The student can participate to any of the research activities carried out by our group, based on his\/her knowledge background and research interests:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Crayfish: monitoring of native and reintroduced populations of Austropotamobius pallipes in target areas. Distribution survey of A. pallipes and invasive O. limosus in Trentino.<\/p>\n

2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ditch networks: assessment of the ecological status of restored ditch networks in agricultural areas.<\/p>\n

3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Hyporheic habitat: distribution of hyporheic taxa in relation to anthropic alteration.<\/p>\n

4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Study of the effects of anthropic alteration (flow, temperature, substrate\u2026) on the structure of benthic communities and their life cycles through simulations conducted in a set of open air flumes.<\/p>\n

5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 climate change effects on high elevation kryal, crenal and rhithral streams (background data existing)<\/p>\n

6)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 long-term changes in flow regimes in Alpine rivers unimpacted and impacted by hydropower generation.<\/p>\n
